We can be proud of Victoria!  She brings a ray of hope and promise for a brighter future to us during a time of great uncertainty.  Her many accomplishments extend far beyond her writing skills, and are enumerated in her bio below.

Victoria Lawson, a graduate of Armijo High School's class of 2020, earned the International Baccalaureate diploma while graduating with Highest Honors, Golden State Seal of Merit, and the State Seal of Biliteracy.  She participated in several clubs at her high school, and was the president of Key Club, Future Medical Professional Club, and the College and Career Club.  Additionally, she was the vice-president of the National Honor Society.  Through these clubs, she made a positive impact on campus and in the community.  In the community, she contributed to the well-being of people by participating in the monthly Matt Garcia Foundation Downtown Clean-up, Girls on the Run Napa/Solano, and organizing and volunteering for fundraisers that supported the Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Program.  During the past two years, Victoria volunteered at the North Bay Hospital in Fairfield.

This Fall, Victoria will be attending the prestigious and historic University of Pennsylvania as a pre-med student and will be majoring in biology.  After undergraduate studies, she plans to complete medical school and become a board-certified anesthesiologist.  After her education and training, Victoria plans to return to Solano County and provide healthcare to the members of the community.

There is no doubt, Victoria has set a HIGH BAR for future Constitution Essay Contest entries.  We look forward to this year's contest and discovering new talented and thoughtful high school students in our community.

God's Speed Victoria!  We wish you the very best!  Congradulations!
